Tamil - In its own way

OK.. so here goes...for people who know tamil...( Someone else visiting this page is an oxymoron).. they wud know that chaste tamil or 'thooya tamil" is how the language actually originated. Now I hardly know anyone who uses the words "Nandri", "Mannikavum" , "Aluvalagam" , "Noolagam" among others....the way we use these words now are,
"Machan Thanks da" , "Dei Mayiru..Sorry Da", "Office poga venama echa...", "Avan Library'la okkandhuttu iruppan da..pazham".

And this is how we like to use our language. I mean, its so easier this way. Back then, Thiruvalluvar wrote the Thirukkural (f or reasons unkown to mankind ) which would be so complex , that you would need Ethan Hunt from MI3 to decode it. For example he would say ..
"Theeyinaar sutta pun ullaarum...aaradhey...naavinaar sutta vadu". This only conveys the meaning that "Words are stronger" and you cant take back whatever you have said...

Adhavadhu..naan enna solla varaen'na ....ellarukkum therinjadha..yaarukkumey purimaya sollradhu dhaan 'thooya' tamil esp..Thirukkural.

Ok Ippo different ways of tamil'a paapoam....lets take the different ways of greeting a person who you meet on the road.

A typical cheeru (thats the code for a brahmin) would say "Hello Eppadi Irukkel....Aathula ellarum sowkiyama"

Enna maari pasanga " Enna machi..paathu romba naal aachu....nalla irukkiya'nu " kaeppaanga...

Idhuvey..namma "Ratnavel" maari partynga..." Mappulla...Inna Paakuraa...Vootla allarum set'aa" appadi'nu kaeppanga..

aana..namma appadiyey konjam south'ku poanoam na...highle educated people'a paakalaam..eppavumey aruva stand'oda alayara parties...avanga paesura tamizhae vera level....

Dei Mappilai..andha pullai'ya (Pulla'na avanga baashai'la ponnu) paaru da...ava namakku madiyara saathiyakoorugal edhavadhu thenpadudha" appadi'nu soluvaanga...

Namma Madras makkalukkaga sollraen...Sathiya Kooru'na possibility.

Seri...ippodhaikku naan apeet aayikkaraen...apparama repeat aayi kaatraen.
